Minnie Lois Lott Young

Minnie Lois Lott Young, age 84 of Gainesville, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at her residence.

               Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 1:00pm at Cross Plains Baptist Church with Pastor Larry M. Deavers officiating. Interment will follow in Cross Plains Cemetery. Ms. Young will lie in state from 11:00am-1:00pm at the church prior to the service. The wake will be held on Monday, April 18, 2016 from 4:00-6:00pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home.

               Ms. Young was born March 28, 1932 in Gainesville, Georgia to Henry H. Lott and Minnie Agnus Maynard Lott. She was a member of Cross Plains Baptist Church. Ms. Young was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Willie T. Lott, Henry Lee Lott, Loye Lott and Nathaniel Lott; her sisters, Willie Mae Stephens and Shirley Lott Dodd; son-in-law, Thomas Gardner.

               Ms. Young is survived by her son, Larry Gene Lipscomb (Victorene); daughter, Marilyn Ann Lipscomb; daughter, Vivian Carolyn Young Sanders (Linwood); daughter, Sherry Young Anderson; daughter, Connie Young Gardner; son, Randall Eric Young (Kimberly); son, Adrian Jerome Young (Carolyn) and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
