Elizabeth Russell, age 69 of Buford, GA died Thursday, April 28, 2016 after a brief illness. Funeral service will be held Monday, May 2, 2016 at 7:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dr. Sondra Jones will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday, May 2, 2016 from 5-7 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Russell will be cremated following the service. Elizabeth is survived by her sons, Kevin Russell, Bryan Russell and wife Heidi, Buford, GA. Grandchildren, Dakota Russell, Hayden Russell, Jennifer Gillis and husband Mitch, Christopher Russell, Sierra Russell, Maggie Russell. Great Grandchildren, Landon Gillis, Savannah Gillis, Cason Gillis, Dylan Russell. Brother, Michael Blevins and wife Mary, Burleson, TX. Elizabeth was born in Jacksonville, TX and had lived in the Atlanta area the past 35 years. She was a school teacher retired from the Fulton County School System and a member of Buford First United Methodist Church.
