Eva Dell Allison Hughes

Obituary Date: Saturday, April 30, 2016

Mrs. Eva Dell Allison Hughes, 85 of Oakwood passed away Friday April 29, 2016 at her residence.

A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mrs. Hughes was the daughter of the late William Riley and Mary Bell Lamb Allison.  She was retired from Avery Label where she worked as a inspector for a number of years.  Mrs. Hughes was a member of the Mountain View Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Corinila and Danny Hutson, Oakwood; Colleen Hughes, Gainesville; granddaughter and husband, Allison and Chris Honeycutt, Gainesville; great grandson, Dylan Honeycutt, Gainesville;  sister. Ann Woodall, St. Simons Island, Ga.; and her great grand-dog, Will. 

Mrs. Hughes is preceded in death by her parents and husband, William M. "Bill" Hughes.

The family would like to say a special thank you to her caregiver, Jessica Wilkins.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday May 2, 2016 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  Rev. Bobby Brown will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Alta Vista Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday May 1, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.

Flowers will be accepted, but those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Mountain View Baptist Church Building Fund, 3765 Mountain View Road, Gainesville, Ga. 30504 in memory of Mrs. Hughes.
