Ella Lou Wade

Ella Lou Wade, age 57 of Alto, passed away Monday, May 02, 2016.  

Born on April 12, 1959 in Habersham County, she was a daughter of the late Ruben and Louella Williams Krockun.  Ms. Wade was a homemaker.  Ms. Wade loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Some of her hobbies include gardening, drawing, making crafts, and antique shopping. 

Surviving are her husband, Dennis Wade of Alto; son, Caleb Wade, Sr.; daughter-in-law Kim Slaughter of Alto; grandchild, Caleb “CJ” Wade, Jr.; sisters, Mary Krockun of Stephens County, Margaret Krockun of Clayton, and Peggy Sexton of Mt. Airy; nephews, Shane Wade, Robin Krockun, and Mason Holland; niece, Shanna Kimsey; best friend, Sandy Armour; numerous great nephews, great nieces and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services are 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 04, 2016, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart with Rev. Jacob Armour, Rev. Toby Dyer, and Rev. George Dean officiating. Interment will follow in the Wade Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 noon until the service hour on Wednesday.
