Funeral Services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Saturday May 14, 2016 at Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Onia Heaton Saine, age 89 of Gainesville. The Rev. Pierce Ashmore, Rev. Joey Allen and Rev. Janie Autry will officiate. Interment will follow at Bethel Tabernacle Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Saine passed away Thursday May 12, 2016.
Mrs. Saine was born in Stephens County to the late Charles Robert Heaton and Azzie Browning Heaton. She had worked for Fieldale and was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, T.J. Saine.
Survivors include daughter, Carolyn Ray, Gainesville, grandchildren, Angela Allen, Gainesville, and Scott Ray, Gainesville.
