Mr. Joe Eddie Duke, age 67, a lifelong resident of Hall County, Georgia, passed away Monday, May 2, 2016 following a brief illness.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel in Gainesville, Georgia.
Mr. Duke was born August 7, 1948, and was the son of the late Tom Duke and Esther Sloan Duke. He was retired from General Motors. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Joe Eddie Duke is survived by his sons, John Duke of Woodstock; Ken Duke of Lake Tahoe, California; grandchildren, Savannah and Madison Duke; sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Wayne Rogers of Cleveland, Georgia; several cousins, and a number of other family and friends also survive.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or Paralyzed Veterans of America 4010 Deans Bridge Road Hephziban, GA 30815.
