Sherry Malee Mills

Mrs. Sherry Malee Mills, age 53 of Oakwood, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at her residence following an extended illness.

Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home.  Reverend Gary Wilson will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 12:00 noon - 1:00 pm, prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Mills was born December 4, 1953 in Pensacola, Florida to William DeWitt Norwood, Jr. and Laura Jean Morris Norwood.  She was employed at Wal-Mart in the Accounting Department and was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.  Sherry was preceded in death by her father, William Norwood, Jr., her 2 sisters, Cindy Carrow and Terry Dianne Norwood. 

Mrs. Mills is survived by her husband, Tim Mills of Oakwood, her brothers & sisters-in-law, William Dee III & Lynn Norwood of Pensacola, Florida and Randall & Stacey Norwood of Pensacola, Florida, her mother, Laura Jean Norwood of Pensacola, Florida, a number of nieces and nephews and other family members.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA  30504 is in charge of arrangements.
