Robert J. “Butch” Reynolds, III

Robert J. “Butch” Reynolds, III, age 68, of Cumming passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016.  A loving father, son, grandfather, brother and uncle, Butch was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in Vietnam as a medic and corpsman, receiving the Bronze Star for Valor. Following his military service, he spent over 25 years with BellSouth, retiring in 1996.  Butch was an avid hunter who loved the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert J. Reynolds, Jr. and Helen Francis Reynolds; his son, Shane Anthony Reynolds and his sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and James Nations.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and Todd Rockey of Cumming; son, James Reynolds of Ft. Meade, FL; grandson, Sean Rockey; granddaughters, Brittney Reynolds, Shelana Reynolds, Olivia Rockey; his beloved nephews and niece, Rick Tomei, Jeff Tomei, Loriann Thibodeaux and other relatives.

A private family service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project.
