James Michael Blackwell

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. James Michael Blackwell, age 71 of Monroe, Georgia, formerly of Jefferson, Georgia who entered into rest Wednesday, May 18, 2016.  Mr. Blackwell was born in Jefferson, Georgia the son of the late James Curtis Blackwell and the late Elizabeth Ricks Blackwell, was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was a retired manager with United Parcel Service.

Mr. Blackwell is survived by wife, Linda Davis of Monroe, children; Tamara Waddell of Jefferson and Dena Free of Clarksville,  grandchildren; Kaylea and Tanner Waddell of Jefferson, Lillie and Hayes Free of Clarksville, great grandson, Parker Dean of Jefferson along with several cousins and many friends.

The family will receive friends Saturday, June 11, 2016, 12:00 – 5:00 P.M. at Walnut Hill Farms, 1960 Jett Roberts Road, Jefferson, Georgia.  Please dress in a casual manner.
