Peggy Rebecca Patterson

Mrs. Peggy Rebecca Patterson, age 74 of Gainesville, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2016 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, June 13, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Byron Lucas will officiate.  Mark Pinkerton will officiate the Graveside.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 12, 2016 from 5 - 8 pm at the funeral home.

 Mrs. Patterson was born August 2, 1941 in Cumming, Georgia to the late John Wehunt and Birdie Roper Wehunt.  She was retired from Northeast Georgia Medical Center where she worked in Housekeeping and was a member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Mrs. Patterson is survived by her children, Tony Patterson of Gainesville, Katrina Patterson of Lula and Terry and Robin Patterson of Lula, grandchildren, Jennifer Patterson, Caleb Patterson, Kyle Cannon, Jake Watkins, Gage Patterson, Grant Patterson, Rachel Patterson and Nathan Patterson, great-grandchildren, Whitney Tanksley, Madison Tanksley, Amberly Rider, Adalynn Rider and Christopher Cannon, sister, Merrell Bennett of Cumming and brother, Larry Wehunt of Flowery Branch.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA  30504 is in charge of arrangements.
