Hazel lee Monroe age 90 of Jefferson passed away Friday June 24, 2016 at Hill Haven Nursing Home.
Mrs. Monroe was born in Easley, S.C. to the late George & Etta Morrison. She was a retired educator having worked in the Lapuenta School District in California. She was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Talmadge Monroe.
Survivors include, sons and daughters in law, Zane& Cathy Monroe of Jefferson, Dana & Jenna Monroe, Mark & Christine Monroe, & Matt & Debbie Monroe all of California, 12 grandchildren & 8 great grandchildren also survive.
Services will be held at a later date in California.
