Elese Crowe Bruno

Elese Crowe Bruno, age 99, of Tampa, Florida, formerly of Mt. Airy, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 24, 2016.

Mrs. Bruno was born in Mt. Airy, Georgia, on May 1, 1917, to the late Robert N. and Mary Kimbrell Crowe. She was also preceded in death by her devoted husband: Dr. Anthony F. Bruno; sisters: Gertrude Holland and Ethel Elrod; brothers: Jack, Otis, Clifford, John Tommy, and Clarence Crowe. Mrs. Bruno was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church in Clarkesville, Georgia. Elese was a homemaker, an excellent cook and an avid gardener. The true joys of her life were the times she spent with her grandsons and great-grandsons.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law: Peggy Jo Giunta and Dr. Frank N. Giunta, Tampa, FL; sisters: Martha Thomley, Mt. Airy, GA, and Christine Williams, Marietta, GA; brother and sister-in-law: Harold “Sonny” Crowe and Cathy Crowe, Mt. Airy, GA; grandsons and their spouses: Dr. Brian N. Giunta and Melissa and Dr. Matthew A. Giunta and Tatyana; and great-grandsons: Alexander Giunta, Gabriel Giunta, and Zachary Giunta.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, July 1, 2016, at Crowe Family Cemetery in Mt. Airy, Georgia, with St. Mark Catholic Church officiating.
