Darrell E. Kennedy

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Darrell E. Kennedy, age 61, of Pendergrass Georgia, who entered into rest Tuesday, June 28, 2016. Mr. Kennedy was born in Louisville, Kentucky the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Elliott Kennedy Sr. and Alice Kennedy. Mr. Kennedy was retired from Avery Dennison in Flowery Branch, and was employed with Toyota Automotive Compressors of Georgia as an Assistant Leader in the maintenance department.  In addition to his parents Mr. Kennedy is preceded by a brother, Les Kennedy and a sister, Sandy Wiseman.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy A. Kennedy of Pendergrass, children; Danielle Davis of Hull, Jamison Kennedy, Schuyler Kennedy, Summer Kennedy and Kayden Davis of Pendergrass, and Misty Walst of Holland.  Brothers and sisters; Barbara Donahue, Bill Kennedy, Cheri Cannon, Teresa Hodges and brother from another mother, Chris Young.  Grandchildren; Kaysen Teet, Braisyn Elliott Teet, Braylin Teet, and Jacob Walst. Numerous Nieces, Nephews and Cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, July 2, 2016 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Eddie Whiting and Mr. Chris Young officiating with burial to follow in the Pond Fork Baptist Church Cemetery.  Gentlemen honored as pallbearers are Jamison and Schuyler Kennedy, Chris Young, Sidney Jackson, Eric Green and Jarrod Scott.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home 4 – 9 P.M. Friday, July 1, 2016.
