Darrell Wayne Walker

Darrell Wayne Walker, age 56 of Gainesville, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2016 at University Hospital in Augusta, GA.   

Memorial services are scheduled for Friday, July 8, 2016 at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Dr. Bill Coates and Reverend Bruce Fields officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 8, 2016 from 2:00-3:00pm prior to the service.       

Mr. Walker was born August 16, 1959 in Bluefield, West Virginia to Donald Walker and Peggy Rutledge Burson. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Gainesville and was preceded in death by his father; brother, Billy Burson and sister, Sharon Walker.         

Mr. Walker is survived by his daughter, Jessica Walters of Gainesville; daughter, Megan Ritt of Cumming; son, Justin Taylor; son Cory Walker of Gainesville; brother, Greg Walker of Gainesville; brother, Douglas Walker of Gainesville; mother, Peggy Burson of Gainesville and 6 grandchildren.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA  30504 is in charge of arrangements.
