Betty Mentoria Eubanks Tate, age 72, of Cumming passed away Friday, July 8, 2016. A native of Forsyth County, Betty was a member of Roanoke Baptist Church where she taught many children about her Lord and Savior. She was a Prayer Warrior for everyone she met. Above all things, Betty loved her Jesus and her family and enjoyed cooking and gardening.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Jerry L. Tate of Cumming; children, Becky Moore and her finance’, Jamie Lingerfelt of Cleveland, GA, Gina (Clint) Thompson of Cumming, Betsy (Bradley) Caine of Cumming; grandchildren, Cam Moore, Brooke Thompson, Aaron Caine, Cassie Caine, Kylie Thompson; great grandson, Slayton Moore; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 10, at 3:00 p.m. at Roanoke Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Hulsey, Rev. Clark Watson, Rev. Carlton Coker, and Rev. Ruel Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 1:00 to 3:00 and 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
