Blanche Amelia Browning

Blanche Amelia Browning, age 92 of Gainesville, passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at New Horizons Limestone following an extended illness.     

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Reverend Wayne Norris officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 15, 2016 from 6:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.      

Mrs. Browning was born October 28, 1924 in Cleveland, Georgia to Ira Mayfield and Goldie Shelnut Mayfield Tanner. She was retired from Johnson & Johnson and was a member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church. Mrs. Browning was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Robert Elmo Browning.     

Mrs. Browning is survived by her daughter, Margaret Browning of Cumming; daughter, Brenda Browning of Gainesville; son, Robert Browning of Flowery Branch; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
