Danny Ray Deforest

Mr. Danny Ray Deforest age 68 of 27 Infantry Drive, Eastanollee passed away Friday July 15, 2016 at his residence.
 
A son of the late Gordon Elson and Freida Neeley Deforest, he was born on September 29, 1947 in Houston, Texas where he lived most of his life, he later moved to Louisiana and move to Eastanollee in 1994. He was a pastor of Toccoa Assembly of God and a member of Christ Fellowship Church where he served as a deacon. He was employed with United Pharmacy for number of years. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by a daughter Becky Deforest, step-mother Shirley Ann Deforest and a brother Randy Deforest. 
 
Survivors include his wife Mary Cummings Deforest of the home, a son and daughter-in-law Jamon and Crystal Deforest of Mt. Airy, a daughter and son-in-law Katy and Michael Wilson of Toccoa and seven grandchildren Grace Deforest, Lydia Wilson, Adalyn Deforest, Anna Wilson, Lilly Deforest, Julie DeForest and George Deforest.    
 
Graveside Services will be held Sunday July 17, 2016 at 4 P.M. at Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Scott Collett officiating. The family will be at the home and will receive friends at Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Sunday from 2 P.M. til 3:30 P.M.
 
Interment will follow in Stephens Memorial Gardens.
