Jessie Hyde Mincey

Mrs. Jessie Hyde Mincey, age 74, of Gainesville, GA passed away Friday, July 15, 2016 following an extended illness.

She was a lifelong resident of Gainesville, GA and a homemaker. She was an avid gardener, had a great love for animals, and was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Mincey was the daughter of the late Early Doster and Minnie Ruth Mincey, and was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jancey Etris.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Jerry Mincey, Gainesville, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Patsy and Al Peterson, Dawsonville, GA; sons, Kenny and Todd Ferguson, both of Gainesville, GA; grandson, Dusty Etris, Dawsonville, GA; and granddaughter, Chelsey Ferguson, Gainesville, GA. 4 great grandchildren and a number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Jessie are scheduled for 1 PM Monday, July 18, 2016 at Hillside Chapel Funeral Home in Gainesville, GA.
Rev. Paul Milligan and Pastor Jesse Chism will officiate.

The family will receive friends at Hillside Chapel Funeral Home in Gainesville, GA from 4 PM until 8 PM on Sunday, July 17, 2016, and again from 11 AM until 1 PM on Monday, July 18.
