Frances Lucille Cowart Haggard

Mrs. Frances Lucille Cowart Haggard, age 95, of Nicholson, GA died Monday, August 1, 2016 at her residence.  Mrs. Haggard was born in Nicholson to the late Frank and Clara Belle Howington Palmer.  She was a member of the Holiness faith and was a homemaker.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Haggard was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Guy Haggard.

Mrs. Haggard is survived by her daughter, Ginny David of Nicholson; sister, Dorothy J. Smith of Nicholson; grandson, Rusty David; and great-grandchildren, Emilie Grace David and Jim David.

Funeral services will be at 1 PM, Thursday, August 4 at Nicholson Fire Baptized Holiness Church with Rev. Marty Smith and Rev. Howard Rhodes officiating.  Interment will follow in Howington Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday night from 6 to 9 PM.
