Ernest Robert Gibson, Sr. age 69 of Commerce passed away Friday August 5, 2016 at the Northridge Medical Center.
Mr. Gibson was born March 28, 1947 in Clayton, Georgia to the late Sanford Alvin and Marie Flanagan Gibson. He was self employed in the construction industry, but enjoyed going to flea markets and yard sales.
Survivors include, wife, Mildred Gibson, Commerce, son and daughter in law, Ernie & Linda Gibson of Lula, son, Robert Gibson of Commerce, brothers, Alvin Gibson of Lawrenceville & Harry Gibson of Gainesville, sister, Vera Smith of Gainesville, 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren also survive.
The family will receive friends Sunday August 7, 2016 from 2:00pm until 5:00 pm at Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce.
