Mildred Greemon Dalton

Mrs. Mildred Greemon Dalton, age 88 of Black Mountain Road, Toccoa passed away Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Friendship Nursing Home.

A daughter of the late Arthur Loyd and Alice Smith Greemon, she was born November 17, 1927 in Easley, South Carolina having lived in Banks and Stephens County most of her life.  She was retired from WABCO with 33 years of service and was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, TomE Bradford Dalton, son, Roger Dale Dalton, brother, Fred Greemon and by a sister, Betty Templeton.

Survivors include a son, Winferd Lynn Dalton of Toccoa, Georgia; two grandchildren, Jacob Dalton and Betsy Dalton; brother, Ricky Greemon of Baldwin, Georgia; sister, Imogene Seelow of Bremerton, Washington.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 16, 2016, 2 O’clock PM at Mountain View Baptist Church, Baldwin, Georgia with The Reverend Kenneth McEntire officiating.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Kenneth Gary, Bradley Gary, Allen Whitener, Johnny Poole, David Poole and Scott Harrison.

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Monday from 5 PM until 9 PM.  Online condolences can be made by visiting the website at www.acree-davisfh.com.
