David Lee Harris

David Lee Harris, age 71, of Gainesville, GA, passed away on August 18, 2016. David served his country honorably in the Armed Forces during the Vietnam War. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. David will be dearly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents Alfred and Annie Mae Harris.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Joyce Harris of Gainesville; children, Tim Harris of Griffin, and Cindy (Mike) Davis of Gainesville; granddaughter, Lori Davis of Gainesville; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Cheryl (Robert) Pitts of Zebulon; niece, Megan Pitts of Zebulon; along with many other loving friends and relatives.

  Memorial services for Mr. Harris will be held at a later date.
