Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mr. Stephen Alan Myers, age 61 of Cleveland. Mr. Myers passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016. A memorial service is scheduled for 3:00pm, Saturday, August 27, 2016 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Garry Hefner officiating.
Stephen was born in Atlanta, Georgia on July 12, 1955 to the late Robert Myers and the late Hazel Meeks. He spent most of his life in Cartersville and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, Stephen is preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Myers and sisters, Catherine Ojala and Katherine Driscoll.
He is survived by his son, Josh Myers of Michigan, step father, Paul Chastain of Cleveland; brother, Robert Myers, (Joanne), Hartwell; step brothers, Jimmy Mann, Ellenwood, Marty Chastain, Jonesboro, Steven Chastain, Palmetto and Jeff Chastain of Cleveland; sister, Rhonda Hopkins, (David), Ellenwood; step sisters, Linda Meyer, Locust Grove and Annette Smoker, Gainesville. Stephen is also survived by his grandchildren, Dylan Myers and Bailey Myers
