Julius Papatyi

Julius Papatyi, age 82, of Cleveland, passed away on Friday August 26, 2016 at Friendship Health and Rehab.

Mr. Papatyi was born on July 29, 1934, in Pannonhalma, Hungary, to the late Gyula and Juliana Farkus Papatyi. Julius was retired from General Motors as an engineer.

Survivors include his wife, Marcia Papatyi, Gainesville; daughter, Susan Roberts, Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, Betsy and Dan Voight, Lakeland, FL; grandchildren, Andrea Berman, Tonya Lindblade, Samantha Roberts, Jessica Voight, Desi Voight, Danny Voight, Joey Voight; brother, Frank Papatyi; sisters, Erin Gabor, Yula Papatyi, and Juliana Papatyi; five great grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Ricky Casper will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 12-2 PM Wednesday the funeral home.
