James “Jimmy” B. Halford

Mr. James “Jimmy” B. Halford, age 69, of Flowery Branch passed away August 27, 2016 at his residence.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 31, 2016 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment following at Memorial Park Cemetery.  Rev. Paul Wade and Rev. Scott Wilson will officiate.  The family will receive friends 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mr. Halford was born November 13, 1946 to the late Bonnie & Beatrice Halford in Flowery Branch.  He was a member of Mt. Salem Baptist Church and the Flowery Branch Masonic Lodge. Mr. Halford was a graduate of West Georgia College and had been a Building Engineer with Ackerman.   An outdoors man, he was an avid hiker and wood worker, who loved his family.

Mr. Halford is survived by his daughter, Kellie M. Halford of Flowery Branch; granddaughter, Alyssa Halford; former wife, Wendy Halford of Flowery Branch; aunt & uncle, Mary & Owen Peck of Murrayville; and cousins, Jeanne & Boyd Parks of Gainesville, Minor Halford of Flowery Branch; as well as Rhonda, Janice and Jerry.
