Earl Carlton Palmer

Mr. Earl Carlton Palmer, age 76 of Gainesville, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.    

Interment will be Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 4:30 pm in Memorial Park Cemetery with a memorial service to follow at 6:00 pm at Riverbend Baptist Church.  Reverend Bucky Kennedy and Reverend Mike Dorough will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 from 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.   

Mr. Palmer was born August 27, 1940 in Cleveland, Georgia to the late Howard Palmer and Pauline Black Palmer.  He was retired from Overnite Transportation and was a member of Riverbend Baptist Church.  Earl was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Myra Jean Palmer. 

Mr. Palmer is survived by his daughters & sons-in-law, Stephanie & Mark Patterson of Flowery Branch and Jennifer & Herschell Fuller of Gainesville, son & daughter-in-law, David & Shontell Palmer of Gainesville, 7 grandchildren, sister & brother-in-law, Joyce & Frank Johnson of Duluth, brother, Richard Palmer of Cleveland and his girlfriend, Ginger Brown of Cleveland.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA  30504 is in charge of arrangements.
