Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mr. Bobby Ray Rogers, age 61 of Cleveland. Ray passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016.
Ray was born in White County on August 23, 1955 to the late Paul Rogers and Carrie Lou Thompson Rogers. He was a member of Center Grove Baptist Church and was a self employed contractor. In addition to his parents, Ray is preceded in death by his sister, Jerilyn Rogers.
Survivors include his daughters, Sonya Fuller, (Chris) of Cleveland and Amy Smith ( Chris) also of Cleveland; sisters, Annette Dyer, Cleveland, Joyce Wiley, Lula, Mary Lou Scero, Dilbert S.C.; and Ruth Stockton (Bill), Port Charlotte FL; brothers, Ernest Rogers (Sandra), Cleveland, Garrison Rogers, (Gertrude), Gaston SC, Earl Rogers (Peggy), Cleveland, Kenneth Rogers (Barbara), Cleveland, Clay Rogers(Donna), Cleveland. Ray is also survived by his grandchildren, Chance Smith ,Kalli Pratt, Joanna and Colby Fuller.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 to 7pm. No public services are planned.
