William Richard Marlowe age 64 of Lula passed away Sunday Sept. 4, 2016 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Mr. Marlowe was born in Atlanta on January 26, 1952 to the late H.W. & Sybil Neisler Marlowe. He served his Country in the National Guard with 4 years of service and the Army Reserves for 2 years. He worked at Jon Massey’s State Farm. Richard loved music and he was a song director at the Spoken Word Church in Lula where he was a member. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Paul & Ronnie Marlowe.
Survivors include, wife, Charlotte Mote Marlowe of Lula, son & daughter in law, Eric & Sarah Marlowe of Clarkesville, daughter & son in law, April & Phillip Miele of Braselton, brother, David Marlowe of Colbert, sister, Rebekah Hammock of Statham, 6 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Samuel Dale & Rev. Adam Humphries officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 Tuesday Sept. 6, 2016 at the funeral home.
