Robert Gene Eller

Memorial services for Gene Eller, age 76 of Demorest will be held on Friday, September 9, 2016 at 5:00 PM from Good News Baptist Church with Rev. Austin Kelley officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 4-5 PM.

Mr. Eller passed away Monday, September 5, 2016.

Born in Rabun County on August 8, 1940, Mr. Eller was the son of the late Leonard F. and Mary Myrtle Stroud Eller.  Mr. Eller graduated from North Habersham High School and was the Director of Sales for Atlanta Baking Company.  He was a member of Hollywood Baptist Church.  Mr. Eller was a 32 degree Scottish Rite Mason, and was a member of Clarkesville Masonic Lodge #325 F&AM, Yaarab Shrine Temple, Mountaineer Shrine Club, and the Scottish Rite Valley of Atlanta.  

Survivors include his wife Lubeth Hunter Eller of Demorest, son Joel Eller of Demorest, daughters and sons in law Teresa and John Jaworski of Baldwin and Ellen and Rick Marrs of Gilbert, Arizona, sister Nancy Robbins of Mt. Airy, grandchildren Jeremy Tench (Pamela), Brentley Jaworski (Tiffany), Danny Crum, Steve Jones, Graesen, Peyton, Michael, Rosemarie, Bella, Annette, and Jaeden, as well as great grandchildren Maylee, Katelynn, and Braxton.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Good News Baptist Church, PO Box 434, Cornelia, GA 30531.

The family requests that members of Clarkesville Masonic Lodge and Mountaineer Shrine Club serve as honorary pallbearers.
