Margie Ann Polk

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Margie Ann Polk, age 80, of Jefferson, who passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2016. Mrs. Polk was born in Forsyth County, Georgia, a daughter to the late Jim and Augusta Kelly Croy. Mrs. Polk was the House Manager at the Blount Hospitality House, which provides lodging and supportive companionship for out-of-town relatives of patients in Huntsville, AL area hospitals. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Polk was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Polk.

Survivors include her children, Augusta “Pennie” Lee, of Jefferson, Randy and Christina Kent of Hubert, NC, Regina and Mike Davis of Conyers; 3 sisters, Nellie, Victoria and Lucille; 11 Grandchildren and numerous Great and Great Great Grandchildren also survive.

A private family Memorial Service will take place later this week.
