Michael Lanier "Mickey" Martin

Michael Lanier "Mickey" Martin, age 56 of Forsyth County, passed peacefully from natural causes on Monday, September 19, 2016. He was a member of Harmony Grove Baptist Church. He loved his family, friends and the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his son, River Martin.

He is survived by his parents, Hayward and Lunell Martin of Forsyth County; sons, Lanier Martin and Logan Martin both of Cumming; brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Tammy Martin of Cumming; sister and brother-in-law, Melissa and Mitch Camp of Blairsville; fiancé Terri Cain;  nephews and nieces, Luke (Tara) Martin of Cumming, Shaina (Josh) Nix of Ball Ground, Tyler Camp of Blairsville, Brody Martin of Cumming; several aunts, uncles and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 22,  2016 at 3:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Ruel Martin, Rev. Danny Ray Martin and Rev. Nathan Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Thursday from 1:00 pm until hour of the service.
