Harlan “Bill” Dennis Chapman

Mr. Harlan “Bill” Dennis Chapman, age 65, of Flowery Branch passed away Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center – Gainesville, following an extended illness.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 24, 2016 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery.  Mr. Jimmy Rogers and Rev. Myles Brown will officiate.  The family will receive friends 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mr. Chapman was born February 1, 1951 to the late Dennis Joshua & Lillian Violet Chapman in Barwick, Georgia.  He was a member of First Baptist Church of Oakwood and retired from Carroll Tire Co.

Mr. Chapman is survived by his wife, Kathy Chapman of Flowery Branch; daughters & sons-in-law, Sarah & Kenny Jackson of Gainesville and Kerri& Dustin Stidham of Flowery Branch; 2 grandchildren, Daniel Jackson and Addison Stidham; sister & brother-in-law, Anna Bell & Jerry Gladdney of Thomasville; and sister, Mary Nell Bellew of Oneonta, Alabama.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Patty Sumner and Rhea Edwards.
