Margaret Ann (Maggie) Smith

In Loving Memory of Margaret Ann (Maggie) Smith, age 66, who was granted her angel wings on Thursday September 22, 2016.

She was born in Sneads Florida, grew up in Bainbridge GA, and resided in Gainesville GA.  She was retired from AT&T and Dawson County Schools.  Maggie was 1 of 4 children, Mickey Godwin, Judy Williford, and Dwayne Lanier.

Maggie is survived by her husband William Smith, daughters Michelle Rusk, Kristy “Renee” Meagher, Nichole Heise & Danielle Smith.  Maggie has 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

We will be celebrating her life on Sunday October 2, 2016, Maggie would have been 67.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, October 2, 2016 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. The family will receive friends and family at the funeral home Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the funeral.
