Thomas F. O’Meara Jr. age 52 of Dacula, GA. died Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Peachtree Christian Hospice, Duluth, GA. Beloved husband of the late Janet; loving son of Thomas (Judith) O’Meara Sr. of Northville, MI and the late Frances O’Meara; dearest brother of Jeffrey (Peggy) O’Meara of Tempe, AZ, Linda Poling of Novi, MI, Jane Gackle (Thomas), of Plymouth, MI, and Brian (Susan) O’Meara of Livonia, MI; dear uncle of Mandi Lutz, Katherine O’Meara, Kyle Poling, Daniel O’Meara, Charlotte O’Meara, and Noah Gackle; son-in-law of Sue Lind of Oregon and Jack (Cynthia) Lind of MI.  Tom will be missed by many relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 30, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel.  Funeral service will be Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church.  Rev. Mark Westmoreland will officiate.  Tom will lie in state at the church from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Peachtree Christian Hospice, Duluth, GA.
