Franklin Dee Haley

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Franklin Dee Haley, age 62, of Jefferson, GA, who passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2016. Mr. Haley was born in Flint, Michigan, a son to the late Albert and Birdie Mae Beatty Haley. Mr. Haley attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness’ and loved to play golf. Mr. Haley was retired from General Motors with 31 years of service where he was a UAW Committee Man, and had also worked for A. C. Spark Plug in Flint, Michigan.

 In addition to his parents, Mr. Haley was preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Coral Duncan Haley of Jefferson; daughters, Kristena Sterling Angie Haley both of Flint, MI, son, Randy Curell of Jefferson, GA, daughter, Nina Epps of Danielsville, GA; sister, Beverly Grouex, of Grand Blanc, MI; brothers, Wade Haley of Oregon, Scott Haley of Petosky, MI, step sister, Janie Hetzer, Clio, MI, Step Brothers, Terry Kelley and Michael Kelley both of Atlanta, TX, Tony Kelley of Lavonia, MI; 6 Grandchildren and 25 Nieces and Nephews also survive.

A memorial service for Mr. Haley will be held Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 6 P.M. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness’, 38 Darnell Road, Jefferson, Georgia, 30549
