Martha Farmer Venable Johnson

Mrs. Martha Farmer Venable Johnson, age 93, of Commerce, GA died Sunday, October 2, 2016 at St. Mary’s Hospital.  Mrs. Johnson was born in Mineral Bluff, GA to the late John Henry Farmer, Sr. and Millie Stansberry Farmer.  She was a member of Madison Street Baptist Church and was retired from a photo film processing plant.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph Venable; second husband, Johnny Johnson; son, Lynn Venable; and daughter, Nancy Venable.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her sons, Michael Venable of Jefferson and Ken Venable of Doraville; 12 grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Wednesday, October 5 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. David Harbin officiating.  Interment will follow in White Chapel.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday morning from 9 to 11 AM.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Madison Street Baptist Church.
