Roy Mae Hayes

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Roy Mae Hayes, age 80, of Pendergrass, Georgia, who passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2016. Mrs. Hayes was the daughter to the late Roy and Lilly Mae Jenkins Webb. Mrs. Hayes was a member of Mountain Creek Baptist Church and worked at Amy La Faye’s Restaurant. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hayes was preceded in death by a daughter Karen Hayes Green.

Survivors include her sons, Timothy Kevin Hayes of Pendergrass, Kenneth Marvin Hayes of Covington, sister, Johnny Sue Leazer of Lawrenceville, brother, Jerry Webb of Dacula, 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild also survives.

The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 10, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Mountain Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Strickland officiating. The burial will follow at 2:00 PM Monday October 10, 2016 in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Lawrenceville. The visitation will be held on Monday from 9:00 am – 11:00 am, prior to the service, in the Mountain Creek Baptist Church.
