Buddy Wayne Reed

Mr. Buddy Wayne Reed, age 66, of Flowery Branch passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at his residence.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 14, 2016 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery.  Rev. Mike Burgamy and Rev. Tony Lovell will officiate.  The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mr. Reed was born December 29, 1949 to Jewell & Florene Reed in Gainesville.  He was Owner& Operator of Wayne Reeds Grading and of the Baptist Faith.

Mr. Reed is survived by his wife of 47 years, Linda Kay Reed; sons& daughters-in-law, Jerry & Rhonda Reed of Jasper and Shane & Kendra Reed of Flowery Branch; grandchildren, Natalie Reed, Gracie Reed, Chase Reed, Sienna Reed, Brantley Reed and Macy Reed; great-grandson, Myles Martin; and brothers & sisters-in-law, Randell & Hazel Reed of Flowery Branch and Jerry & Jackie Reed of Oakwood.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bobby Reed.
