Hayley Deneen Smith

Mrs. Hayley Deneen Smith, age 52, of Flowery Branch passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, surrounded by her family.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 18, 2016 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery.  Rev. Dave Channell will officiate.  The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 17, 2016 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mrs. Smith was born July 23, 1964 to Thomas P. & Gail Marler Brown in Birmingham, Alabama.  She was a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church and was a Paramedic and Fire Fighter Captain with the Gwinnett County Fire Department.  The most favorite thing she enjoyed was being a mother, along with running and teaching gymnastics.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Steve Smith of Flowery Branch; son, Nick Owens of Braselton; daughters, Ellie Smith, of Flowery Branch and Savannah Smith, United States Army of Flowery Branch; 3 grandchildren; parents, Thomas & Gail Brown; brothers, Rod Brown of Phoenix, Arizona and Cary Brown of Montgomery, Alabama; sister, Kim Carranza of Buford; and several nieces& nephews.
