Marshall Christman Kinsey

 Mr. Marshall Christman Kinsey age 95 of Gainesville passed away on November 03, 2016 at his residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled on Sunday November 06, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Straightway Baptist Church with interment to follow in Straightway Baptist Church Cemetery.  Reverend Danny Kastner, Reverend Michael McIntyre, and Reverend Grady White will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday November 05, 2016 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Kinsey was born on October 29, 1921 in Gainesville, Ga to the late Hershel Kinsey and Ester Smith Kinsey. He was retired owner and operator of Kinsey Enterprises and Cloth Shop and was a member of East View Baptist Church. Mr. Kinsey was also a member of Scottish Rite, the Stone Masonic Lodge, the Shriners, and The Eastern Star.  He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Doug Kinsey, daughter, Brenda Towe, 5 brothers, and 3 sisters. 

Mr. Kinsey is survived by his wife of 42 years, Nell Kinsey of Gainesville, son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Jackie Kinsey of Panama City Beach, son, Danny Williams of Gainesville, daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and James Clark of Gainesville, 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 9 great great-grandchildren.
