Alan Dexter Williams, Sr.

Mr. Alan Dexter Williams, Sr. age 61 of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at his residence following a sudden illness.

Mr. Williams was born June 7, 1955 in Chatham County, Georgia to Mr. Buster Williams and Clara Duncan Williams.  He was a former truck driver for Haynes Trucking and was of the Baptist Faith.  He is preceded in death by his mother.

Mr. Williams is survived by daughters, Amy Stephens and Brooke Williams, Gainesville, GA; sons and daughter-in-law, Alan Dexter Williams, Jr. (Laura) and Dylan Williams, Gainesville, GA; brothers, David Beckworth, Savannah, GA, Phillip Abrams, Dahlonega, GA, Tony Williams, Gainesville, GA; a number of other relative also survive.

Visitation will be Monday November 7, 2016 from 4 pm to 9 pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
