Superman Timothy (Elijah) Smith

Superman Timothy “Elijah” Smith, 4 years old, of Gainesville, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at his residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, November 11, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend Jason Harrison will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 10, 2016 from 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.

Superman Smith was born March 30, 2012 in Gainesville, Georgia.  He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Danny Turpin.

Superman Smith is survived by his guardian & mama, Lisa Carette of Gainesville, dad, Orlando Lara of Gainesville, mother “mommy” Chasity Smith of Gainesville, father, Levi Rider of Gainesville, brothers, Blake Smith of Gainesville and Luke Rider of Lula, grandmothers, Liz Turpin and Linda Rider, both of Gainesville, great-grandmother, Ann Turpin of Gainesville and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
