Russell J. Wallace

Russell J. Wallace, age 77, of Cumming, formerly of Alpharetta, passed away Monday, November 14, 2016.  A loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, Russell was a former police officer in Alpharetta and later became a truck driver with Kenneth Wallace Grading.  Russell enjoyed being around his friends and spending time at his son’s property in South Georgia.  He is preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Sarah Ann Wallace.

Survivors include his sons, Kenneth (Cindy) Wallace, Sr. and Kevin Wallace, both of Cumming; daughter, Kelda Wallace of Gainesville; grandchildren, Kenneth (Missy) Wallace, Jr., Kerry (Brittany) Wallace, Melissa Kennedy; great grandchildren, Hope Kennedy and Ryleigh Wallace; brother, Ray (Gail) Wallace of Alpharetta; several cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 16, at 3:30 p.m. at Sawnee View Gardens with Rev. David Frix officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
