Brenda Ruth (Gaither) Bailey

Brenda Ruth (Gaither) Bailey was born on July 9, 1963 to the late Mr. Jewell Gaither Sr. and Dorothy (Rucker) in Jackson County, Georgia. She departed this life on Friday, November 18, 2016 at the Cancer Treatment Center of America following an extended illness. She was married to Garnet Melvin Bailey on March 23, 1991. Brenda was a beloved member of Rucker Memorial Baptist Church. She was a 1982 graduate of Jackson County High School. She leaves to cherish her memories a devoted husband, Garnet Bailey; son, Tremayne G. Bailey of Gainesville, Georgia; daughters, Quanica D. Bailey of Valdosta, Georgia and Quanta L. Bailey of Charleston, South Carolina; brothers, Jewell (Janice) Gaither Jr. of Lancing, Michigan, Marvin Gaither of Jefferson, Georgia and Lamar Jones of Athens, Georgia, Tyrone Gaither of Commerce, GA; sisters, Lillie Ann Gaither of Athens, Georgia, Regina (Swayne) Williams of Athens, Georgia, Karen Gaither of Commerce, GA and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Rucker Memorial Baptist Church at 1:00 PM.  Professional Services Entrusted to Wimberly & Jackson Funeral Home.
