James Claude Gerrells

James Claude Gerrells, age 85, of Cleveland passed away Saturday November 26, 2016. 

Mr. Gerrells was born in Leaf, Ga the son of the late Haskell and Maude London Gerrells.  He was preceded in death by his brothers, Grady Gerrells, Monroe Gerrells, George Gerrells, Willie Gerrells; sisters, Adell Barnes and Ethel Gerrells. Mr. Gerrells was a farmer and a member of the Baptist Faith. 

Survivors include his wife, Betty Gerrells, Cleveland; sons, J.C. Gerrells, Gainesville, Mark Gerrells, Clayton; sister, Mary Lorene Lewis, Cleveland; grandchildren, Mark Gerrells Jr., David Gerrells, Aaron Gerrells, all of Clayton; special friends, Pauline and Henry Spence, Cleveland. 

Graveside services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday November 29, 2016 at Yonah View Memorial Gardens.  The Rev. Dennis Taylor will officiate. 

The family will receive friends 4-8 pm Monday at the funeral home.
