James Richard Jakway

James Richard Jakway, age 67, of Gainesville, GA passed away Monday, November 21, 2016.

He was born in Germany November 30, 1948, and was a long-time resident of Cutler, Ridge, FL.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Allen Jakway, and his wife, Mary Bruce Jakway.

Jimmy is survived by his daughter, Dawn Michelle Jakway; granddaughter, Savannah Ruth Swain, Winder, GA; mother, Gwendoline Jakway, Cutler Bay, FL; brothers, Alan Jakway, Homestead, FL; Gordon Jakway, Fayetteville, GA; David Jakway, Athens, GA; and Dean Jakway, Cutler Bay, FL; nieces and nephews, Jody and Lani Crump, Cherry Crump, Lettie Crump, Roger and Sarah Bryson, Fiona Bryson, Michael and Heather Jakway, Noah Jakway, Isaiah Jakway, Kati Jakway, Jason Jakway, and Shawn Jakway. He also leaves behind four stepchildren, and many other relatives and close friends.

A memorial service for Jimmy is scheduled for 2 PM Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Calvary Baptist Church, 1975 Hwy. 82, Statham, GA.
