Thomas Joseph Snipe, Sr., age 94 of Hoschton, GA, died Monday, November 28, 2016.  Funeral Mass will be held Monday, December 5, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Flowery Branch.  Interment will follow in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY.  The family request in lieu of flowers contributions be made to Halcyon Hospice, LHC Purpose Fund

Mr. Snipe was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years Dorothy Donaghey Snipe and his sister Margaret Gibbons.  He is survived by his son, Tom Snipe, Jr., Aquebogue, NY and daughter, Mary Ellen Snipe, Hoschton;  Several loving nieces and nephews,  The Gibbons family, The Clifford family and The Lane family.  Mr. Snipe was born in Brooklyn, New York and lived in the metro Atlanta area the past 9 years.  He was a World War II Veteran of the U.S. Army, a retired installer with the New York Telephone Company and a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Flowery Branch.  Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel 770-945-6924 Share memories of Thomas at www.hamiltonmillchapel.com
