Kenneth James Watson, Sr.

Funeral services for Kenneth James Watson, Sr., age 78, of Demorest will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 11:00 AM from the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Rev. Charles Holland and Dr. Tom Mewborn will officiate with interment to follow the service in Demorest City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, December 2, 2016 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM.

Mr. Watson passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2016.

Born in Habersham County on November 5, 1938 Mr. Watson was the son of the late Jesse and Violet Byrd Watson. He was a member of Demorest Baptist Church and he also attended Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Mr. Watson was a retired educator.

Survivors include daughters and sons in law Angela and Glenn Nunnally of Demorest and Lori and Cres Martinez of Houston Texas, son Kenneth Watson, Jr. of Baldwin, brother and sister in law Phillip and Linda Watson of Greenville, South Carolina, grandchildren Lacey Nunnally, Jenny Martin, Timothy Nunnally (Lacy) James Nunnally, Roland Flores (Taylor), Patsy Grace, Sophie, and Ashton Watson, and great grandchildren Luke and Holland Nunnally and Whitney Martin.
