Virginia Vickers Elsner

 Virginia Vickers Elsner born September 9, 1922 passed away peacefully at her home on November 29, 2016. She is survived by her daughter Robyn Elsner Gilewski, son-in-law Dennis Gilewski of Cumming, and her niece Virginia Lee Harris of Atlanta, Ga. She was born in Atlanta, Ga, and married Robert Elsner in 1941. They resided in Austell, Ga until 1971 when they moved to Cumming Ga. Her hobbies included horseback riding, swimming, gardening, boating, and she was an avid reader of mystery novels. Her passion for life and her love of animals was second to none. She devoted her entire life to raising her daughter and being a loving wife until the passing of her devoted husband in 1992.

    Virginia was the “life of the party”, loved socializing and touched the hearts of everyone she met.

    A “Celebration of Life” will be held at the home of her daughter on January 14^th, 2017.  In lieu of flowers donations may be offered to the Forsyth County Humane Society
