(Mack) Malcolm Gordon Pittman

Obituary Date: Sunday, December 4, 2016

Mr. “Mack” Malcolm Gordon Pittman, age 84, of Gainesville, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, December 8, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend James Kanaday and Reverend Wayne Hicks will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 from 6 – 9 pm and Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 9 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Pittman was born March 11, 1932 in Lula, Georgia to the late Homer Pittman and Letha Wiley Pittman.  He served in the U. S. Army and was retired from General Motors.  Mack was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Marilyn Allison Pittman, his sister, Betty Jo Wiley and his brother, Raymond Pittman.

Mr. Pittman is survived by his children, Teresa Pittman of Gainesville, Eric & Sheryl Pittman and Letha & Bryan Brady of Gainesville, grandchildren, Whitney Dunfee, Kris Dunfee, Kristen Dunfee, Brandon Brady and Shane Ridley, great-grandchildren, Alivia Kendricks, Connor Ledbetter and Emma Dunfee, sister, Bobbie Martin of Gainesville and brothers & sisters-in-law, Tiny & Claudine Pittman of Gainesville and Jimmy & Pat Pittman of Douglasville, Georgia.
